What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field. CPA preferred.
• 4-8 years of related full cycle accounting experience with at least 2+ years of public accounting experience. Experience within saas, defense, or gov't contracting experience a plus.
• Excellent leadership qualities that can lead a small team.
• Strong organization skills with ability to see both the forest and the trees.
• Self-starter attitude with a desire to implement and improve processes.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Oversee financial reporting and technical accounting processes in preparing for S-1 filing.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to manage and maintain financial statements.
• Work directly with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.
• Help improve and build financial efficiencies through implementing new systems.
