Accounting Manager – Notable Real Estate Firm

*not a fully remote – hybrid mix sitting out of LA or Dallas office*

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA highly beneficial 
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience, preferable coming from Big4/Top10
  • Strong understanding of SOX, U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting matters
  • Understand, research, and analyze accounting principles
  • Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is an added bonus
  • Ability to work efficiently while providing effective solutions for complex issues 
  • Previous knowledge with Oracle, PeopleSoft, Hyperion, etc. is preferred
  • CPA not required, but preferred

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for primary financial reports, various accounting projects, implementation of new operating procedures, etc. 
  • Provide support to compensation areas including: bonus, commissions, defined benefit, defined contribution, stock compensation, etc. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
  • Improve accounting and reporting processes
  • Provide mentorship and coaching for professional development growth
