What you’ll do:

• Perform routine animal husbandry and welfare.
• Perform cage changing, providing clean bedding and materials for mice housed in the vivarium.
• Observations of animal health, behavior and appearance.
• Autoclaving of biowaste for disposal.
• Assist in maintaining vivarium supply inventories – stocking and ordering.
• Routine weekend and holiday work required.
• Other duties may be assigned in addition to those listed above.

Who you are:

• High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1-3 years of experience working in a laboratory animal facility.
• Prior experience in a vivarium is highly preferred but not required.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $19 to $21 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
