What you’ll do:

The successful candidate will primarily focus on bioconjugation, optimization and analytical characterization of antibody conjugate for imaging and therapeutic studies. The candidate is expected to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment, to be self-motivated, well-organized and capable of working independently.
Who you are:
-
PhD degree in organic chemistry, chemistry or related is preferred. M.S. with equivalent experience will be considered.

Expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and/or biochemistry, with > 3 years of post-graduate experience in areas of protein bioconjugations. Experience in field of antibody-drug conjugates or nanomedicines/nanotechnology is highly desirable.

Deep understanding of bioconjugation chemistry principles particularly conjugation of small molecules to proteins is highly desirable.

Familiarity with operation of HPLC instruments is required. Experience with analytical techniques such as ESI, LC/MS, NMR, MALDI/TOF MS, and UV/VIS spectrophotometry a plus.

Background in techniques of bioconjugational chemistry using different linkage chemistry (NHS, Maleimide/thiol, hydrazone, click, etc.), particularly for attachment of therapeutic reagents to antibodies

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
The expected range for this role is $85K to $90K. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
