What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and manage compliance with all relevant affordable housing regulations, including Project-Based Section 8 (PFS) and Housing Finance Agency (HFA) compliance.
- Collaborate with government agencies to maintain compliance, addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
- Provide training and support to administrative staff on compliance-related matters, ensuring they are well-versed in the latest regulations and requirements.
- Develop and implement compliance strategies that align with both resident needs and company objectives, promoting a culture of compliance across all levels.
- Monitor and report on compliance status, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring timely submission of all required documentation.
- Conduct regular audits of tenant files and property records to ensure ongoing compliance with HUD and local housing regulations.
Who You Are:
- A compliance professional with at least 3 years of experience in HUD compliance and a deep understanding of affordable housing regulations.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experienced in working with HUD’s APPS system, and knowledgeable about HUD market rate and LURA compliance.
- Capable of conducting thorough audits and identifying compliance gaps, ensuring all properties meet regulatory standards.

What Does This Position Pay?
- Compensation is determined by several factors, which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $70,000 – $80,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate, and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
