What You’ll Do:
As the Controller, you will play a critical role in supervising the General Ledger (GL) team, which handles operational accounting and the financial close process. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supervising a team of 2, responsible for overseeing the month-end close process.
- Leading the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Engaging in intercompany work and reviewing financial reports generated by the system.
- Managing the staff, conducting performance reviews, and providing coaching and mentorship.
- Work closely with department directors to identify reporting needs for their departments in order to achieve their functional goals.
- Work closely with the Purchasing department on job costing, Inventory, and development and monitoring of standard costs.
- Prepare and analyze the monthly Financial Package, which includes variance discussion and various management reports.
Who You Are:
- 10+ years of experience and 3+ years in a management role, ideally as an Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller.
- A CPA or CPA candidate highly preferred
- Experienced in the manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of operational processes and financial reporting.
- Proficient invERP systems.
- A proactive and intellectually curious individual who thrives in a hands-on, detail-oriented environment.
- A leader who is willing to dig in, learn, and get their hands dirty when necessary, while also being able to coach and be coached.

What Does This Position Pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors, which may include skill set, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $120,000 – $130,000 annually DOE, with a 10%-15% bonus potential. Please note this range is an estimate, and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
