What You’ll Do:

• Monitor and calculate deferred commissions (VPI) and reconciliations monthly
• Monitor and review forgivable loans reconciliation and journal entries, and all agent receivables and billings
• Review marketing support and CECL allowance
• Review revenue related reconciliations, journal entries and annual agent 1099
• Oversee the contract process and operational areas to ensure compliance with SOX
• Support monthly close process and revenue department
• Work alongside agents, office managers and legal to resolve and reduce delinquent agent related receivables
• Provide support to streamline business processes
• Assist with other projects and ad hoc reports as needed
• Manage audit support requests to external auditors for SOX and substantive audit procedures

Who You Are:

• 6+ years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field
• CPA Required
• Experience working with volume driven transactional accounting and assessing contract agreements
• Understanding of process improvements and systems implementations
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, specifically very strong excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
• Efficient self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects and deadlines
• Capacity to mentor other accounting professionals
