Division Controller – Great 1st Time Role for Big4/Top Nat'l CPA Firm Leader

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA a plus. 
  • 4-6 years of accounting experience, ideally from Big 4 or Top Nat'l CPA firm.
  • You’ve led small teams and enjoy rolling up your sleeves in a growing, evolving environment
  • Ideally, you’re a CPA with experience in multi-location or multi-entity businesses (healthcare or services is a plus, but not required)

What you’ll do:

  • Own the full controllership function for a core business division, including month-end close, general ledger, and GAAP-compliant reporting
  • Lead and develop a small accounting team, driving accountability, accuracy, and process improvements as the business scales
  • Partner closely with FP&A and executive leadership, presenting financial results and providing actionable insights to support decision-making
  • Strengthen internal controls and audit readiness, serving as a key point of contact for auditors and cross-functional teams
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and growth initiatives, helping evolve systems and processes in a startup-style environment

What does this position pay?

  • Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
  • The expected range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
