Do you have prior HR experience in the entertainment talent management or talent agency world? We're working with an energetic, growing talent management/production company who is looking for a leader in HR! Beyond just your day-to-day management of all HR functions, we're also looking for someone who can partner with management to build and execute on strategic initiatives that will benefit employee well-being, operational excellence, company growth, etc.

Who you are:

  • 7+ years of HR experience and at least 1 year in a leadership position
  • SHRM/PHR preferred
  • Current or prior experience in either an entertainment talent management company, talent agency, or production company 
  • Generalist experience required – you will lead all things HR for the company and multiple businesses!
  • Effective communication skills and comfortability partnering with senior management

 

What you'll do:

  • Manage all HR operations functions, while also providing guidance to management regarding HR functions and implementation of policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state laws
  • Develop and implement a human resources business plan, establish accountability, identify solutions to resolve problems, and foster a diverse workplace
  • Handle grievances, manage hiring practices, and participate in coaching, disciplining, and termination of employees
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and use of best practices in areas such as talent acquisition, benefits, employee satisfaction, DE&I, etc.
  • Act as a leader to the organization, proactively further developing a well-organized department that can support the company as they grow!
