Manager / Sr Manager, Analytical Development

What you will do:

  • This position will be responsible for managing day to day operations of the analytical department which includes prioritizing and supporting all activities for internal analytical operations.
  • Manages the routine and non-routine testing of critical raw materials, in-process samples, and final product including stability testing.
  • Performs analytical testing such as HPLC, CE, UV/VIS, and plate-based assays. 
  • Contributes to applicable CMC sections of regulatory submissions. •
  • Responsible for monitoring and coaching direct reports’ performance goals
  • Develop analytical methods for drug products with a specific focus on optimization and analytical characterization
  • Design, execute, and document analytical method development activities
  • Establish analytical methods and control strategy to support preclinical and clinical development

Who you are:

  • PhD in Chemistry, Pharmacological Chemistry, or related field with 0-2 years experience OR BS/MS with 4-6 years experience.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years on managing Research Associates and Scientists directly. 
  • Must have experience with HPLC method development.
  • Ideal candidate will also have experience with MS or LCMS
  • Experience with plate assays is a plus

What does this position pay? 

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. 

The expected range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000 per year.
