Principal Scientist, Fermentation Process Development – ($125k – $170k DOE)

What you’ll do:

• Perform in strain selection, media and feed optimization, and fermenter configuration.
• Perform process optimization, scale-up, technology transfer, process characterization, and process validation activities for fermentation process development for biopharmaceutical production.
• Serve as SME in technology transfer from process development to cGMP manufacturing.

Who you are:

• PhD and 9+ years’ experience with Fermentation Process Development; or BS/MS with equivalent experience.
• Must have extensive experience with large scale fermentation process optimization.
• Must have experience working with vaccines, therapeutics, or biopharmaceuticals.

What does this position pay?

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. 
• The expected range for this role is $125k – $170k per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
