Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent experience required
  • 5 years of professional work experience in the Software Engineering field
  • Experience developing and deploying fully automated integration tests
  • Experience with JavaScript, Java, C#, C++, Visual Basic, Visual Test, Microsoft SQL, Python, or Perl (mixed skillset)
  • Experience with automation tools Selenium, Cucumber, Qtest, Atlassian, Confluence, and GitHub
  • Experience building and verifying smoke tests
  • Understand how CI/CD works, as you will be driving automation into the test automation suite
  • Understand how to modernize the test infrastructure, beyond maintaining it, and owning your own test environment
  • Understand how software is developed, automated, and tested (SDLC)
  • Understand how to build the pipelines and plug-in and take them to the next level; customize the deployment scripts and understand the intricate details of the framework
  • Understand how to build and deploy CI/CD in Jenkins; write and execute smoke tests


What You’ll Do

  • Develop automation framework from scratch
  • Develop integration tests with fully automated CI/CD pipelines; develop the automation code for the CI/CD, of systems, infrastructure, and test framework
  • Write and execute test plans and automation test scripts
  • Collaborate, collaborate, collaborate with product design engineers
  • Be a part of learning new tools and technologies to enhance the existing testing techniques
  • Work to understand project specifications and translate into the QA documentation
