Scientific Communications Specialist

This pioneer Diagnostic company is looking to hire a talented and hardworking Scientific Communications Specialist who will assist in pushing the boundaries of proteomic and genomic approaches to characterize inflammatory pathways. The ideal professional will have a strong background in editing, writing, formatting documents and an eagerness to join and contribute to a tight knit, mutually supportive community of skilled experts.

What you’ll do:

  • Edit, and submit abstracts, posters, slide presentations, and manuscripts targeted for publication in peer reviewed journals.
  • Develop medical communications calendar in support of R&D pipeline products.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders and with external service providers to ensure the timely development, review, and publication of documents.
  • Coordinate NDA’s, contracts, meetings, and minutes.
  • Coordinate all publication and conference participation logistics.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, device, medical/scientific communications, or marketing.
  • Experience editing, reviewing, and formatting documents, abstracts, poster presentations, and slide decks.
  • Excellent writing ability with strong editorial and formatting skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A background in molecular biology/genomics, oncology, laboratory, or diagnostics a plus.
