Scientist II / Sr Scientist – Molecular Biology within Analytical Development

The ideal professional will have a strong background in PCR, ddPCR and sequencing as well as an eagerness to join and contribute to a tight knit, mutually supportive community of skilled experts.

What you will do:

  • Develop analytical methods that robustly characterize the nucleic acid and bioactivity of our mRNA-based drug products 
  • Design, execute both routine and non-routine analytical analyses, and document analytical method development activities in support of process development, stability, and product characterization
  • Responsible for hands-on experience with various techniques such as qPCR, ddPCR, Sanger sequencing/NGS, ELISA, flow cytometry, and cell-based assays

Who you are:

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering or related field with 2-5 years of industry experience or BS/MS with 10+ years of experience.
  • Prior experience with characterization and release/stability testing of formulated nucleic acids.
  • Hands-on experience with various techniques such as qPCR, ddPCR, Sanger sequencing/NGS, ELISA, flow cytometry, and cell-based assays for quality and analytical testing.

What does this position pay?

  • Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $130k-$145k  per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
