Senior Development Accountant

Senior Accountant: $75K-$105K+ DOE – Real Estate
This is your chance to join a respected real estate investor/developer as their Senior Accountant. You will have the opportunity to work directly under the Chief Accounting Officer. Quick learners with a self-starter attitude will excel in this environment; the opportunities for growth are only limited by your own commitment and enthusiasm.

What you’ll do:

• Perform the day-to-day accounting of development projects, maintain job cost budgets for projects, code project commitments and invoices in accordance with budget
• Process invoices and print checks, review payment applications, monthly loan draws, preferred equity draws and partner capital calls, reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and timely submit accurate accounting and forecasting of cost to date, cost to complete and cost at completion using job cost software
• Prepare and submit monthly budget updates, monthly analysis, project cashflow forecasts, loan amortization schedules, preferred equity schedules, mezz debt investor schedules, “post-mortem” financial analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis 

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 
• 5-7+ years of real estate development/job cost/construction accounting experience 
• Understanding knowledge of contractor payment application 
• Excellent communication skills and drive

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $70,000 to $105,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
