(Sr.) Scientist, Process Development

This pioneer company in Biotech is looking to support and promote a talented (Sr.) Scientist, Process Development who will assist in advancing cutting edge immunotherapy and regenerative medicines. The ideal professional will have a strong background in downstream process development for mRNA and DoEs, as well as an eagerness to join and lead a tight knit, mutually supportive community of skilled experts.

What you will do:

  • Develop and optimize the mRNA production process, focusing on upstream in-vitro transcription reactions and starting materials
  • Develop and implement scalable mRNA purification strategies
  • Lead technical management for mRNA process development activities at external CMOs

Who you are:

  • MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field with 3-5  years of industrial experience
  • Experience with IVT reaction design and optimization
  • Experience with nucleic acid separation science and TFF (UF/DF) buffer exchange

What does this position pay?

  • Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $130k-$150k  per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
