Staff Accountant (Onsite | Temp-to-Hire)

Pay: $30–$34/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite

We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a mission-driven organization. This is an onsite, temp-to-hire role ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• AP/AR support, invoicing, and follow-ups

• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries

• Bank and GL account reconciliations; resolve variances

• Expense reporting and policy compliance

• Maintain accurate records, audit support, and documentation

• Support tax and business filings

• Respond to internal/external accounting inquiries

• Identify process improvements and efficiencies

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or AP/AR experience

• QuickBooks experience

• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills

• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven

• Collaborative, proactive communicator

Preferred

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $30.00 – $34.00 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
