Staff Accountant – Financial Services – Los Angeles County

A well-known financial services firm is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team! This accountant will be on their investment accounting team and have ideally about a year of accounting experience, preferably in the financial services industry or in public accounting audit.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Approximately 1 year of accounting experience, such as in auditing, financial reporting, and/or GL accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• CPA candidate preferred.

What You'll Do:

• Participate in the month-end close process.
• Prepare journal entries as needed.
• Assist in the audit preparation for regulatory reports and financial statements.
• Support the investment accounting in their daily operations.
• Be part of ad-hoc projects.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $55,000 to $75,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
