What quote speaks to you most/makes you laugh?
“That sounds like an efficient use of the free market. I would wish you the best of luck, but I believe luck is a concept invented by the weak to explain their failures.” –Ron Swanson
As funny as it may sound, I really do believe its opportunity, hard-work and choices that transpire into what we do and accomplish. Failure is part of life and imperative to learning, however in my opinion success has nothing to do with luck. Plus, Parks and Rec is one of my favorite shows!
Who is someone you especially admire and why?
My father is definitely one of those individuals. Being an immigrant to this country, I saw the struggles my father had to endure after leaving his country during the revolution. I imagine what it was like to grow up with nothing then go to an Ivy League school, establish and flourish your career, become a well-recognized architect, and then have to flee your country and start from scratch again. Nevertheless, his investment and sacrifice was focused on ensuring my sister, mom and I had a better long term life. It reminds me every day that I shouldn’t take anything for granted and to really comprehend what real challenges are in life.
If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
This is a tough one, however I would have to say being able to play any instrument. I love music and have always wanted to play different instruments and create music. I feel like there is so much you can express and emotions you can illicit with music, without saying a word.
