Describe one of the most meaningful experiences of your life.
The last 5 years I moved from Houston (where I am from) to Denver then to Phoenix. Moving away from family and the comfort of home for 5 years was able to mold me into someone I could have never imagined while I was still home. Not only did I change careers, get married, and have a baby – I was able to get to know people from other regions of the country that helped me to gain a deeper understanding of diversity and privilege. I now have a better understanding of who I want to be personally and professionally!

Who is someone you especially admire and why?
This one is easy – my husband, Makaya! He has incredible ideas and is easily the smartest person I’ve ever met, his work ethic is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, he is an amazing cook, he takes care of me and our son without complaint or question and he makes me better every single day!
