Accounting Consultant/Interim Controller

INTERIM CONTROLLER –  Hybrid zip code 92128 – $75-$90/hour

Join a growing private equity-backed medical device manufacturing organization undergoing significant transformation and growth, where you'll partner closely with executive leadership to strengthen accounting operations and build scalable processes.

Who you are:

• CPA preferred with 7+ years of accounting leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, or medical device environments.
• Strong background in private equity-backed organizations, multi-entity accounting, consolidations, audits, inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Proven experience improving close processes, strengthening financial controls, optimizing ERP systems, and leading accounting teams through change.

What you'll do:

• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, consolidations, treasury activities, payroll, AR/AP, and balance sheet management.
• Drive accounting process improvements, enhance ERP utilization, ensure debt covenant compliance, and support audit and tax activities.
• Partner with leadership to improve operational performance, evaluate team talent, implement best practices, and build scalable accounting infrastructure.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $75-$90 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
