Accounting Manager

What you’ll do:

  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including preparation and/or review of journal entries and related reconciliations.
  • Manage multiple general ledgers and entities, with the majority of activity concentrated in five core entities.
  • Oversee full balance sheet and P&L exposure.
  • Handle capitalized software accounting, foreign currency, and intercompany transactions.
  • Review tech employee salaries to determine capitalizable vs. expensed portions and prepare supporting memos; own this entire process.
  • Support audit readiness for external PCAOB audits, statutory audits, and additional international regulatory audits, including assisting with PBC requests.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements as the organization standardizes and streamlines accounting operations.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; open to candidates from public accounting or industry (non-siloed environments).
  • Prior management or mentorship experience.
  • Oracle experience is a plus but not required.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within a global organization.
  • Strong process-improvement mindset with an interest in building scalable, standardized workflows.
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented; willing to assist wherever needed and engaged in fostering a fun, supportive environment.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $115,000–$130,000 base salary, plus a 10% bonus and 10% equity. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
