Accounting Manager: Hybrid
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional ready to step into a leadership role within a growing, mission-driven organization. The Accounting Manager will work closely with senior leadership, oversee core accounting functions, and guide a collaborative team while maintaining an exceptional work-life balance.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Review and oversee complex balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
  • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for the accounting team
  • Partner with leadership to meet internal and external reporting requirements
  • Drive improvements to accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, including ASC 842 (Leases) and ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition)
  • Serve as a key point of contact for annual financial audits, coordinating with external auditors

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people leadership or team oversight
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with hands-on experience in ASC 842 and ASC 606 — required
  • Advanced to expert-level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proven experience managing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or another ERP system is a plus, but not required
  • Hands-on leader who is organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $100,000 – $130,000 base salary, with potential flexibility pending leadership approval. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
