Accounting Manager Growing Law Firm in San Diego!

Who you are:

  • 5-10+ years of experience supporting accounting and operations in a law firm or billable?hours environment.
  • Comfortable handling bookkeeping, billing, payroll, benefits administration, and P&L reporting.
  • Tech?savvy and confident coordinating with external IT vendors and troubleshooting basic technology issues.
  • Highly organized, solution?focused, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a small?team setting.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead day?to?day accounting, including bookkeeping, billing support, P&L preparation, payroll, benefits administration, and coordination with an external CPA firm for tax filings.
  • Manage firm operations by partnering with third?party IT providers, resolving technology issues, and supporting general office needs.
  • Oversee HR administration including PTO tracking, sick time, payroll inputs, and general employee support.
  • Support upcoming initiatives, including a migration to a new document management system and implementation of a new accounting platform.
  • Collaborate with the existing administrator during a planned transition period for knowledge transfer.

What does this position pay?

  • Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
  • The expected range for this role is $100,000-$125,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
