Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts Payable Manager – High-Growth Organization – San Diego, CA 

Looking to lead and scale AP operations in a high-growth environment? This is an opportunity to join an innovative, award-winning life sciences organization where you’ll own key processes and partner closely with leadership.

Who you are:

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including leadership or ownership responsibilities
• Strong experience with AP systems and expense platforms 
• Deep understanding of vendor compliance, 1099 reporting, and use tax processes
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

What you’ll do:

• Own the full Invoice-to-Pay cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment execution
• Lead AP operations while handling complex or high-risk transactions and escalations
• Oversee internal controls, vendor setup, and tax compliance 
• Partner with Accounting and Procurement to support close, reporting, and process improvements

What does this position pay?

• Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
• The expected range for this role is $100,000–$120,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
