Android Application Engineer – San Francisco, CA (Onsite) – $140,000–$160,000 per year
Are you an Android engineer who enjoys building polished UIs for real, physical devices? This is an opportunity to join a well-established, engineering-led technology company that designs and delivers connected products end to end—from concept through production. You’ll work on a brand-new, long-term product for a high-profile client, with strong visibility and ownership from day one.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience building Android applications end to end
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack (Compose preferred)
- Background developing UI for small or constrained devices (wearables, IoT, embedded Android)
- Able to clearly explain your design and coding decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
What you’ll do:
- Design and develop Android UI for a small, smartwatch-sized device
- Build clean, responsive UI using Kotlin and Jetpack while ensuring a smooth user experience
- Collaborate closely with embedded, camera, mechanical, and validation engineers
- Support and maintain the product long-term once it moves into production

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $140,000–$160,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
