AR Specialist

AR Specialist (Contract/Temp) – San Diego, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) – Contract (1–3 months, immediate need) $28-35/hour 

Looking for a short-term role where you can jump in quickly and make an immediate impact? This is an opportunity to support a growing, fast-paced organization that needs urgent help stabilizing and organizing its accounts receivable function during a team transition.
Who you are:

• Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections.
• Highly organized with the ability to track payments, follow up on outstanding invoices, and keep clean records.
• Comfortable handling email outreach and payment check-ins with customers.
• Able to ramp quickly in a busy, evolving environment.

What you’ll do:

• Follow up on customer payments and conduct collection outreach via email.
• Match payments to invoices and ensure accurate AR records.
• Help organize and structure the collections process during a transition period.
• Partner closely with accounting leadership and adjacent consultants to keep AR moving smoothly.

What does this position pay? Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
