Assistant Controller

We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Controller to own the monthly close process across multiple entities, support audits and tax prep, and improve accounting operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, PE-backed company from the ground up. 

What you’ll do:

• Own the monthly financial close and reporting process for multi-entity structures, including consolidations and financial statement preparation.

• Document and evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Support annual audit and tax processes by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

• Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field; CPA required

• 8+ years of experience in accounting, ideal experience in real estate, REIT, or fund accounting.

• Experience with NetSuite preferred

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
