Associate Director, Analytical Development

This pioneer company in Biotech is looking to support and promote a talented Manager, Analytical Development who will assist in advancing cutting edge immunotherapy and regenerative medicines. The ideal professional will have a strong background in management and HPLC Method Development and an eagerness to join and contribute to a tight knit, mutually supportive community of skilled experts.

What you will do:

  • Lead phase-appropriate buildout of analytical methods for extended characterization, product release, stability, comparability, and compatibility.
  • Support in-process analytics, process optimization, and new technology development activities
  • Manage and develop a team of 5+ people.
  • Lead analytical investigations into deviations and OOS results
  • Draft technical reports and analytical sections for regulatory filings

Who you are:

  • PhD in Chemistry, Pharmacological Chemistry, or related field with 6+ years of industry experience.
  • Must have minimum of 4 years managing teams of 2+ people (Research Associates and Scientists) directly. 
  • Strong understanding of biophysical characterization (HPLC, LCMS, CE) and involvement in stability programs to ensure integrity and efficacy. 
  • Proficiency in composing comprehensive reports and analytical sections for submission in regulatory documents (IND, BLA, etc)

What does this position pay? 

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $180,000 to $200,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
