Associate Scientist, Immuno-Oncology

This pioneer company in cancer vaccines is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Scientist to join our immuno-oncology group. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, executing, and analyzing in vitro immunological assays. The position requires a background in immunology, and the ability to communicate scientific data effectively to cross-functional teams and senior management.

What you will do:

  • Design and execute immunological assays, including IFNy, ELISpot, ELISA, and multicolor flow cytometry-based assays to evaluate immune responses and characterize immune cell populations.
  • Analyze experimental data and generate high-quality presentations and technical summaries for internal review and for communication with senior scientists and upper management.
  • Process donor Leukopaks and isolate human immune cell subsets for downstream immunological assays.
  • Conduct sterile culture of human tumor cell lines, human immune cell subsets, and murine tumor cell lines.

Who you are:

  • M.S. in Biology, Cellular Biology, or an equivalent focus with 3+ years of industry experience, or B.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience in an industry setting.
  • Experience in standard immunological assays, including IFN? ELISpot, ELISA, and multicolor flow cytometry
  • Strong aseptic tissue culture techniques are essential.
  • Proficiency with data analysis software such as FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, or CTL ImmunoSpot.

What does this position pay?

  • Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
