Billing Analyst

Billing Analyst – San Diego (downtown) – Onsite – $29/hour – Temp-to-Hire
Are you detail-oriented and analytical, with a passion for ensuring accurate billing and usage data? This is an opportunity to join an established energy services organization where you’ll play a critical role in validating usage data, supporting market submissions, and partnering cross-functionally to improve processes in a fast-paced environment.

Who you are:

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with above-average Excel proficiency
• Effective written and verbal communicator who can work well with internal teams and external partners
• Basic understanding of usage and metering concepts, or relevant experience supporting billing or data validation

What you’ll do:

• Obtain and validate usage data for customers across multiple markets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business expectations
• Research and resolve usage-related exceptions by working directly with utility partners and internal stakeholders
• Prepare, validate, and submit aggregate hourly meter data to ISOs (including CAISO and MISO) in accordance with market rules and deadlines

What does this position pay?
Compensation is $29/hour and determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
