Buyer, Oakville, Ontario, Canada (Onsite), $75,000–$85,000 CAD per year

Who you are:

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, buying, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing, consumables or regulated environment.
• Prior experience with purchasing of reagents, chemicals, instruments and / or PPE is preferred, not required. 
• Strong understanding of sourcing, cost drivers, lead times, and supplier negotiations
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (MISys or similar) and working with structured master data
• A proactive, collaborative communicator who partners effectively with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and suppliers

What you’ll do:

• Own end-to-end procurement for assigned categories, managing requisitions, POs, delivery, and receipt to support R&D and operations
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost, lead time, and quality while meeting compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate ERP/MRP master data (items, BOMs, suppliers) and support inventory, receiving, and reconciliation activities
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance KPIs, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $75,000–$85,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
