Buyer (Hardware) – Oakville, Ontario, Canada (Onsite) – $75,000–$85,000 CAD per year
Are you a detail-driven Buyer who enjoys owning hardware purchasing decisions in a fast-moving environment? Join an innovative biotech organization where your procurement expertise directly supports the development and manufacturing of regulated diagnostic hardware that impacts real-time patient care.
Who you are:

  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, buying, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing or regulated environment
  • Hardware purchasing experience is required, including components, instruments, or mechanical/electrical assemblies
  • Strong understanding of sourcing, cost drivers, lead times, and supplier negotiations
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (MISys or similar) and working with structured master data

What you’ll do:

  • Own end-to-end procurement for hardware-related categories, managing requisitions, POs, delivery, and receipt to support R&D and manufacturing
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost, lead time, and quality while meeting GMP and ISO 9001 compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate ERP/MRP master data (items, BOMs, suppliers) and support inventory, receiving, and reconciliation activities
  • Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance KPIs, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement

What does this position pay? Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $75,000–$85,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
