CFO

INTERIM CFO / FINANCE LEADER – Rancho Bernardo, CA (Hybrid) – $150-$180/hour

Join a private equity-backed organization seeking an experienced finance executive to strengthen accounting operations, improve financial controls, and serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership during a critical growth phase.
Who you are:

• Experience leading finance and accounting functions within private equity-backed organizations.
• Strong accounting foundation with demonstrated success building or scaling finance organizations.
• Comfortable operating in highly unstructured environments while managing multiple priorities, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Executive presence with a collaborative communication style and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

What you'll do:

• Oversee cash flow management, financial operations, and reporting while supporting fiscal year-end close and audit activities.
• Build and enhance financial processes, controls, and best practices to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Partner with executives, accounting leadership, and external consultants to drive key finance initiatives and ensure timely execution.
• Prepare and manage financial reporting requirements for private equity stakeholders.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $150-$180 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
