Clinical Research Associate, Oncology

Clinical Research Associate – San Diego, CA, $38.00 – $67.00/hour
Looking for a Clinical Research Associate opportunity where you can contribute to cutting-edge oncology programs and make a meaningful impact on patient care? Our client, an innovative clinical-stage biotech company, is seeking a motivated CRA to support Phase 2 clinical trials while working alongside a collaborative and mission-driven clinical operations team.

Who you are:
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.
• 4+ years of clinical research or healthcare industry experience, including 3+ years of direct field monitoring experience.
• Oncology clinical trial experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, HIPAA, and the drug development process.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for site monitoring visits.

What you’ll do:
• Conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits while ensuring compliance with study protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Review source documentation and CRF data, resolve queries, monitor protocol deviations, and ensure timely SAE reporting and study deliverables.
• Partner with investigators and site staff to provide training, support enrollment efforts, maintain essential documents and eTMF records, and drive overall site performance.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.

The expected range for this role is $38.00 – $67.00 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
