Cloud Operations Engineer

• Bring 7+ years of progressive IT experience across technical support, systems administration, and engineering, ideally in an MSP or consulting environment.
• Have direct, hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 GCC or GCC High. This is required.
• Have personally migrated customers from Microsoft 365 Commercial to GCC or GCC High, with experience moving Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint workloads.
• Have strong Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy skills.
• Understand Windows desktop migrations and moving user profiles between environments.
• Can troubleshoot independently, prioritize competing customer needs, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Are comfortable doing the technical work yourself and taking ownership through resolution.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and pass a background check.

 
What You’ll Do

• Plan and execute Microsoft 365 Commercial-to-GCC/GCC High migrations, from discovery and preparation through cutover, validation, and post-migration support.
• Deliver Azure infrastructure migrations, customer onboarding, and remediation projects.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud and on-premises systems, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoints.
• Handle desktop and user profile transitions so customers can work effectively after a migration.
• Implement security configurations that support customers’ CMMC and NIST requirements.
• Resolve escalated technical issues, document your work, and follow established procedures.
• Work directly with customers and fellow engineers to move projects forward and keep environments running reliably.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
 
The expected range for this role is $110,000 to $127,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
