Compliance Engineer – United States (Remote) – $110,000–$135,000
Are you looking to join an established, fast-growing cybersecurity services organization where you will step in at moment when market demand is accelerating? A rapidly scaling provider supporting highly regulated government contractors is adding a Compliance Engineer to help meet this rising growth. Here, you’ll play a hands-on role in helping defense clients achieve full CMMC compliance.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of hands-on systems and network experience within Microsoft ecosystems, including 2+ years with Microsoft Purview DLP sensitivity labels
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and identity services (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, GPOs, Conditional Access)
- Experience supporting compliance-driven or regulated environments across multi-tenant or MSP/consulting models
- Proven experience working in hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
- U.S. Citizen
What you’ll do:
- Design, implement, and tune Microsoft Purview DLP policies and sensitivity labels across M365 workloads
- Support CMMC Level 2 and NIST 800-171 audit readiness through documentation, evidence gathering, and control validation
- Partner closely with compliance and engineering teams to remediate gaps and prepare clients for upcoming assessments
- Assist during audits by presenting real-time technical evidence and validating configurations prior to formal reviews

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $110,000–$135,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
