Controller – Golf Supplies Co. – Onsite in Canby, OR
A growing, PE-backed company is seeking a Controller to oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, taxes, and compliance. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory and tax compliance (federal, state, and sales), and providing financial analysis to support business decision-making. Reporting to the Director of Finance.
Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.

7+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with management or supervisory experience.

At least 4 years working with outside auditors to ensure clean audits.

Proficiency in accounting software, financial modeling, and data analysis; NetSuite experience required.

Experience in retail or wholesale companies that sold products DTC or B2B to large retailers is a plus.

Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in a private equity-backed company preferred.
What you’ll do:

Oversee daily accounting activities, including AP, AR, sales tax compliance, and general ledger.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.

Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and performance evaluation with the Director of Finance and leadership team.

Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance for Management, Lenders, and Investors.

Assist the Director of Finance in developing and managing budgets, forecasting, and analyzing variances.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, qualifications/certifications, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $140K–$160K annualized base compensation, with additional compensation components. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience.
