Assistant Controller: Onsite

What you’ll do:

• Spearhead process improvement and help elevate systems and reporting processes.
• Supervise and lead a close-knit team of 12, including direct oversight of FP&A, Cost Accounting, and Credit/AR.
• Maintain accounting integrity across systems (Cross systems, Excel).
• Lead the month-end close process, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and preparing monthly financial statements with insights.
• Oversee vendor management, check runs, and rebate programs.

Who you are:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, or from public accounting auditing similar companies.
• Someone with the appetite for high-growth environments and ready to hit the ground running.
• CPA not required, but strong financial acumen and costing experience are preferred.
• Prior management or team leadership experience—either directly managing or mentoring others.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables).

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is up to $175,000 base salary plus 15% bonus. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
