What you’ll do: 

  • Underwrite new commercial loan applications and evaluate client financial health.
  • Maintain and manage existing loan portfolios, including modifications and renewals.
  • Collaborate with loan officers to assess client needs and create tailored financial solutions.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit write-ups, detailing proposals and company backgrounds.
  • Analyze historical and projected financial statements to evaluate debt service capabilities.
  • Assist with special projects as directed by the Chief Credit Officer and lending team.

Who you are:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial loan underwriting, particularly in commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within a small team.
  • Experience with basic Excel functions; advanced skills are not required.
  • Previous experience in public accounting is a plus.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $75,000 – $110,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
