Data Scientist

Data Scientist – San Diego, CA / Oahu, HI / Colorado Springs, CO – $100K–$180K

Who you are:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist working with large, complex datasets
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Accumulo (or similar technologies such as HBase) and big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance and U.S. citizenship required

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions in distributed, secure environments
• Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling to mission-critical DoD data
• Develop and optimize complex queries in large-scale key-value and NoSQL databases
• Partner with engineers and technical stakeholders to improve data quality, performance, and system reliability

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $100,000–$180,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
