Director of Internal Audit

We are working with a notable and growing REIT, and they are looking to bring on a Director to their team! This role reports to the VP while being a part of the larger Finance organization.

Your strong background in audit combined with your interpersonal skills will help you to excel!
 
What You'll Do:

• Coordinate annual SOX testing project, including timeline management, and staff assignments
• Supervise and review SOX testing activities
• Manage testing and analysis of high-risk internal controls
•  
• Design and lead audits to evaluate the Company’s strengths 
• Evaluate compliance with policies and procedures

 
Who You Are:

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 8+ years of audit experience
• CPA, CIA, or CISA or other related certification highly preferred
• Extensive experience with SOX 404 regulations and compliance
• Must bring strong audit experience with a public accounting background
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

What Does This Position Pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
 
The expected range for this role is $150-200K per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
