A leading manufacturer of luxury leather goods is seeking a Director of Product Development & Quality to drive innovation, oversee the product lifecycle, and ensure best-in-class quality standards. What you'll do:

  • Lead the full product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with brand identity and customer expectations.
  • Oversee quality control, implementing high standards for craftsmanship, durability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to optimize materials, processes, and costs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and streamline production.
  • Manage a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

 
Who you are:

  • 10+ years of experience in product development and quality control, preferably within the leather goods, luxury, or fashion industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of leather materials, finishing techniques, and production processes.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage supplier relationships.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
 
The expected range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
