Director, Procurement

Exciting opportunity to join a world renown research organization as Sr. Director of Procurement.  Will lead a team of 5 and be responsible for managing an annual spend budget of over $200M covering both direct and indirect spend. 

What you will do:

As a leader within the organization you will lead a team and build rapport accross the organization. You will be responsible for setting the strategy to improve spend and identify opportunities to negotiate with vendors across all spend. 

What you will bring:  

Experience leading a procurement team ideally within the scientific research industry. In additon you will display strategic accomplishments that led to postive results.  

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $175,000 to $200,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience. Out of area talent are encouraged apply.   Our client will assist in relocation and expect the right candidate to be able to move to San Diego within 6 months of hire.
