Electronic Assembler

Electronic Assembler (1st Shift, 1 year contract)

As an Assembly Associate you will complete assembly of electronic devices. You will perform manual soldering of surface mount and through-hole components. You will be applying adhesives and other materials to printed circuit boards. You will complete assembly of modules consisting of printed wiring boards, chassis, housings, wires, and hardware. You will also be mixing various materials for use on printed circuit boards. You will have familiarity with ovens, hot plates, hot air pencil, etc.

What you’ll do:

• Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies by performing manual soldering.
• Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
• Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.

Who you are:

• Experience performing manual soldering is required. Preferred to have or previously held soldering certification.
• Ability to read and follow drawings for mechanical assemblies.
• High school Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• US Citizenship required.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $20 to $24 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
