Who you are:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in digital design and development of FPGA based hardware and SoC devices for spacecraft systems, with proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog, and familiarity with Xilinx devices and tools (Vivado, SDK, Vitis).
- 2+ years managing digital design engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
- Experience developing MCU/SoC software in Rust or C/C++, and working knowledge of FPGA architectures, high-speed converters, DDR RAM, Solid-State NAND/NOR storage, and standard interfaces (UART, SPI, LVDS); Python and/or SystemVerilog a plus
- Ideally, you have an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with a TS/SCI clearance
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers as a hands-on technical leader supporting the team's development, including career growth and performance evaluations
- Create cutting-edge HDL-based digital designs for next-generation space radar systems
- Collaborate with electrical, systems, and payload engineering teams to integrate Xilinx SoC hardware with high-speed data converters and address mechanical, thermal, and power interfaces
- Rapidly develop prototypes, iterate on hardware and firmware, and prepare engineering documentation, reports, and test plan

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
The expected range for this role is $180,000 to $220,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
