Engineering Manager– $150-200K DOE– Hybrid (Los Angelos)
 

 
Our industry-leading client is looking for Engineering Manager. The Engineering Team will play a critical role in steering our clients engineering roadmap, focusing on planning and implementing integrations between various SaaS platforms, as well as leading the development of custom web applications. This position requires a combination of strategic planning, leadership, and hands-on development, with a strong emphasis on collaboration (servant leadership) and innovation.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, Business, or related field experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a team or project leadership role.
  • Proficient in Node.js, PHP, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL (any variety), HTML and CSS
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing complex custom software projects.
  • Strong background in the collaborative aspects of successful engineering projects: estimation, stakeholder alignment, creative problem solving.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
  • Experience implementing SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and/or DevOps practices a strong plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with .NET a plus.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a no-blame culture of innovation, delivery, and continuous learning.
  • Hands-On Development across the Stack:
  • Contribute to development projects, expertly handling tasks in Javascript/Node.js, Python, React or Vue, HTML and CSS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to ensure technology solutions align with business needs and deliver value.

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors, which may include skill set, experience level, and geographic location. 
The expected range for this role is $150-200 per year, plus a annual merit review. Please note this range is an estimate, and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience. Complete benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.
