Finance Business / Portfolio Analyst (Business Analyst IV) Consultant – Houston, TX (Hybrid) – $55-63/hour – 3+ months w/potential to extend and/or convert to permanent

Looking to make a strategic impact through financial insights and portfolio optimization? This is an opportunity to join a large, established organization in a strategic planning function, supporting high-visibility investment and capital decisions.

Who you are:

• 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, portfolio analysis, or financial planning
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI modeling
• Advanced skills with Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with Power BI and portfolio management platforms (e.g., SAP, ADO)
• Comfortable working independently while partnering with senior stakeholders
• Eligible for conversion to a full-time role

What you’ll do:

• Manage financial performance across portfolios, including budgets, forecasts, and ROI analysis
• Develop portfolio roadmaps, investment plans, and executive-level dashboards and reports
• Track spend versus budget, perform variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions
• Support governance, prioritization, and capital allocation decisions through data-driven insights

What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is up to $55-63 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
