Finance Transformation Senior Project Manager
San Diego, California
Have you already led complex finance transformation and financial systems implementations from planning through go-live? We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who has personally owned large-scale implementations, managed multiple projects and executive stakeholders, and knows how to drive transformation—not just support it. You’ll take ownership of high-impact initiatives across 20+ companies and step into an environment where your experience will immediately matter, with a path toward broader Program Management leadership.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of project management experience leading implementations, transformation initiatives, or enterprise systems projects.
- Proven leader who has managed teams, direct reports, and cross-functional project resources while holding people accountable to deadlines and deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience taking ownership of projects from planning through execution, testing/UAT, training, and go-live.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the confidence to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, remove roadblocks, and keep multiple initiatives moving forward.
- Finance transformation, financial systems, ERP, or consulting experience is strongly preferred, with exposure to platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, EPM, or similar systems.
What you’ll do:
- Take the lead on high-impact transformation and implementation initiatives across a fast-growing organization with 20+ operating companies.
- Lead cross-functional teams, set expectations, drive accountability, and make sure people and projects deliver against critical deadlines.
- Own project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and executive-level status reporting across multiple initiatives.
- Partner directly with Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, business leaders, and executives to turn strategic priorities into results.
- Drive implementations from planning through requirements, UAT, training, change management, and go-live.
- Step in when projects hit roadblocks, bring the right people together, and keep execution moving.
Why work here:
- This isn’t a “coordinate meetings and update spreadsheets” Project Manager role—you’ll have real ownership, real visibility, and the ability to lead.
- Make an immediate impact across 20+ companies while helping shape major transformation initiatives.
- Work directly with senior and executive leadership on projects that have company-wide visibility.
- Build on your leadership experience with the opportunity to grow into broader Program Management responsibility.
- Competitive $150K-$170K base salary plus up to 10% bonus.
- Remote flexibility with preferred hub locations across the U.S.
- Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), wellness programs, learning and development opportunities, and generous paid time off.
