Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst II (Contract) – Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) – $35-40/hr
Looking for a long-term contract where you can sharpen your financial reporting skills and support high-impact programs? This is an opportunity to join a large, established energy and utility organization on a 2-year contract, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls for a critical integrity management initiative. The team is collaborative, reporting-focused, and offers a hybrid schedule with flexibility.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (years of experience considered in lieu of degree)
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, or forecasting
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint with strong reporting skills

What you’ll do:

• Analyze and reconcile accounts; prepare and annotate variance reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for program costs and expenditures
• Assist with governance, internal controls, and cost recovery reporting
